Lovelets started after I lost an important friend to cancer. Megan Dickey was only twelve when she first developed the bone cancer. Megan fought as hard as she could and was joyful and optimistic the whole time.
She passed away on July 11, 2007. After Megan's death, all of Megan's friends were devastated, I decided to make a difference in the world by keeping Megan's spirit alive. In honor of our beloved friend, we deliver home-made bracelets to sick children in the hospital. After making and delivering about a hundred bracelets to the children, we decided to add more to the organization and then added the gifts. We now bring all kinds of presents to the kids. The more donations, the better the gifts.
